Four service lines that solve the four problems every independent hospitality business eventually runs into. Take one. Take all four. You get the same team either way.
You own the building and the brand. We run the business. Full operational control, full P&L accountability, and a weekly number you can trust without being on site to verify it.
This is the right structure for absentee and semi-absentee owners, estates and partnerships that inherited an operating asset, investors who bought a venue and discovered running one is a different job, and owners who want to stay involved in the parts they love and hand off the rest.

How management fees work
A base management fee plus an incentive fee tied to a performance threshold you and we agree on up front. We are willing to put a meaningful portion of our economics behind the result, because we intend to produce one. Terms are set per venue based on revenue scale, condition, and scope.
Base fee as a percentage of gross revenue
Incentive fee above an agreed profitability hurdle
Defined term with clear performance-based termination rights
Transparent, itemized reimbursables. No hidden markups on vendors
Service 02
Advise
Consulting, turnaround & feasibility
For owners who intend to keep running the business themselves but want a operator's read on what to change, in what order, and what it will cost.
Scoped as a project with a defined deliverable and end date, or as a fractional retainer where we function as your outside operating partner on a recurring cadence.
Performance turnaround
For venues that are busy and unprofitable, or quiet and bleeding. We rebuild the cost structure from the ground up: labor model, menu mix and pricing, purchasing, and the handful of operational habits that quietly eat four to eight points of margin. Delivered with a sequenced 90-day implementation plan and the training to make it stick.
Concept development & repositioning
Concept, positioning, menu architecture, service model, layout and flow, brand identity, and the pro forma that tells you whether the idea survives contact with reality. We are as willing to tell you not to build it as we are to help you build it.
Feasibility & underwriting
Site and market analysis, demand modeling, competitive mapping, build-out budgeting, staffing models, and a defensible pro forma with sensitivity ranges. Bank-ready and investor-ready, in the format lenders actually want to see.
Acquisition diligence & integration
Buying a restaurant, venue, or hospitality asset? We run operational diligence on what the seller is not showing you, quantify the deferred maintenance and staffing risk, and build the 100-day integration plan so day one is not chaos. For sell-side, we prepare the operation so it is worth what you think it is.
The most valuable thing we deliver is usually the thing an owner has not been able to say out loud: this concept works, that one never will, and here is which of your three problems is actually one problem.
Haven Hospitality operating principle
Typical advisory deliverables
Written operating assessment with prioritized findings and dollar impact
Rebuilt labor model and scheduling standards by daypart
Menu engineering matrix with repricing and mix recommendations
Twelve to thirty-six month pro forma with sensitivity cases
Sequenced implementation roadmap with owners and dates
Vendor and contract renegotiation targets with savings estimates
Staff training curriculum and manager scorecards
Service 03
Build
Custom software & implementation
We write software for hospitality businesses because we needed it ourselves and could not buy it at a price an independent could justify.
Booking and event pipelines, AI phone and text agents, operations dashboards, POS and accounting integrations, and internal tools built around your actual workflow instead of a vendor's assumptions about it.
Inquiry to signed contract to deposit to run-of-show, in one system, with automated follow-up on every lead that goes quiet.
Build 02
AI voice & text agents
Answer every call and text, day or night, in your voice. Qualify, quote, book, and hand off to a human when it matters.
Build 03
Operations dashboards
Sales, labor, COGS, covers, per-cap, and bookings pulled from your existing systems into one screen that updates itself.
Build 04
Integration layer
Make your POS, scheduler, payroll, accounting, and CRM talk to each other so nobody is retyping numbers into a spreadsheet.
Build 05
Custom internal tools
Inventory counts, line checks, incident logs, maintenance tickets, tip pooling. The unglamorous work that runs on paper today.
Build 06
Guest-facing web & booking
Fast, modern sites that convert, wired directly into the booking and CRM systems behind them. No orphaned contact forms.
Service 04
Grow
Marketing & revenue systems
Marketing that is designed against your capacity, your margins, and your calendar. We are not interested in traffic that costs you money.
Every program we run is measured against contribution, not impressions. If a promotion fills the room and destroys the per-cap, we kill it and say so.
Demand capture
Missed-call text-back so no inquiry dies on a busy Friday
Speed-to-lead automation with response inside sixty seconds
Reputation engine: review generation, monitoring, and response
Local search and map presence built and maintained
Website and landing pages wired straight into the CRM
Demand creation
Paid social and search timed to your capacity calendar
Email and SMS lifecycle programs by guest segment
Loyalty and rewards design that lifts frequency, not discounts
Content and social managed with a real posting cadence
Event and programming calendar built to fill soft dayparts
Group & corporate sales
Target list building: corporate, school, league, association, wedding
Outbound sequences across email, SMS, and phone
Package and pricing design for banquets and buyouts
Proposal templates and contract workflow
Pipeline reporting so you know what is actually booked
Measurement
Attribution from first touch through booked and paid revenue
Cost per booked event and cost per incremental cover
Contribution margin by campaign, not just top-line lift
Monthly reporting in plain language with a recommendation attached
Full access to your own accounts, data, and audience lists
Engagement models
Four ways to work with us.
Pricing is scoped per engagement. What is fixed is the structure: defined scope, defined term, defined deliverable, and a written statement of what success means before we start.
Model 01
Project sprint
A defined problem with a defined end. Turnaround plan, systems build, concept development, feasibility study, or a software implementation.
No. The large majority of our work is fee-based advisory and management with no equity component whatsoever. When there is any potential for an investment interest, we disclose it in writing at the start of the engagement and you decide whether to continue. We will not use an advisory seat to build an acquisition case behind your back.
Our sweet spot is independent operators doing roughly one to fifteen million in annual revenue, from a single unit through a small group. Below that, a project sprint usually makes more sense than a retainer. Above that, we are candid about whether a larger firm serves you better, and we will say so on the first call rather than the fourth.
Yes. Our venue operations are in Michigan and our parent platform is headquartered in Chicago, so the Great Lakes region is where we are strongest and where on-site work is easiest. We take consulting, software, and marketing engagements nationally, and we will tell you honestly whether a particular scope needs boots on the ground more often than travel makes sensible.
You do. Your operational data is yours without qualification, exportable at any time, in a documented format. Custom-built application code is either assigned to you outright or licensed to you perpetually, depending on how the engagement is structured, and which one applies is written into the agreement before work starts. We do not hold client accounts, domains, ad platforms, or audience lists hostage.
Consulting and software engagements typically begin within two to four weeks of a signed scope. Full management engagements require a transition period, usually thirty to sixty days, to handle licensing, payroll, vendor assignment, and staff communication properly. Distressed situations can move faster when circumstances require it.
Nothing. A 45-minute working call, and if the situation warrants it, a site visit. You leave with a written point of view on what we would prioritize, whether or not you hire us. We do not charge discovery fees to find out if we are a fit.
Start the conversation
Tell us what is not working. We will tell you exactly how we would fix it.
Every engagement starts the same way: a 45-minute working call, a walk of your P&L and your floor, and a written point of view you can act on whether or not you hire us. No deck, no discovery fee.
