Operators. Advisors. Builders.

We don't consult on hospitality.
We operate it.

Haven Hospitality Collective owns and runs restaurants, entertainment venues, and event businesses in Michigan and Ohio. We bring that same operating discipline to yours: management, advisory, custom software, and marketing systems from one accountable team.

The gap we fill

Most hospitality advice comes from people who have never made payroll on a slow Tuesday in February.

Independent restaurants, venues, and event businesses get squeezed from three directions at once. Margins that assume perfect execution. Technology priced and designed for chains. And a labor market that punishes every gap in your systems.

The help available to them usually makes it worse. Haven Hospitality exists because we got tired of watching good operators buy the wrong solution three times before finding the right one.

Problem 01

Consultants who leave before the hard part

A discovery phase, a deck, an invoice, and a handshake. The recommendations are usually right. Nobody stays to install them, train the team, or hold the line at month four when the old habits come back.

Problem 02

Software built for 400 locations, sold to you

Enterprise platforms with enterprise pricing, enterprise onboarding, and eighty percent of features you will never touch. Meanwhile the one workflow that actually costs you money every week stays manual.

Problem 03

Agencies that have never worked a floor

Ad spend pushed at a dining room that cannot absorb it, promotions that destroy your per-cap, and campaigns timed against your seasonality instead of with it. Traffic is not the same thing as profit.

Haven Hospitality is the alternative. We are operators first. We hold our own P&L, staff our own venues, and build the systems we sell because we needed them ourselves.

What we do

Four disciplines. One accountable team.

Engage us for one. Most clients end up using two or three, because the problems are connected and so are the fixes. You are never handed off to another vendor.

01

Operate

Third-party venue management

We take operational control and full P&L accountability: general manager recruiting and development, F&B program design, labor modeling, COGS discipline, vendor renegotiation, event and group sales, and weekly reporting you can actually read. For owners who want the asset without the 70-hour week.

02

Advise

Consulting, turnaround & feasibility

Concept development, menu engineering, pricing architecture, cost structure rebuilds, and honest feasibility work before you sign a lease or a purchase agreement. We also run acquisition diligence and 100-day integration plans for buyers entering the space.

03

Build

Custom software & implementation

Software written for how your venue actually runs. Booking and event pipelines, group sales workflows, AI phone and text agents that answer when your host stand cannot, operations dashboards that pull labor and COGS into one screen, and integration layers that make your POS, scheduler, and accounting talk to each other.

Grow

Marketing & revenue systems

Demand generation built on top of the operation, not bolted beside it. CRM and lifecycle automation, missed-call text-back, reputation management, paid social tuned to your capacity calendar, loyalty programs, and outbound group sales that fills your slowest hours instead of your busiest.

The Haven Hospitality difference

Why owners hand us the keys.

There are larger firms and cheaper vendors. There are very few that will sit in your operation, take responsibility for the number, and still be there in year three.

Owner-operators, not advisors

We run our own venues. Every recommendation we make has been tested against a real schedule, a real crew, and a real Saturday night. If it does not work in our building, we do not sell it to you.

Technology built for independents

We build the tools we could not buy. That means enterprise capability at independent economics, delivered as software you own the data in, not another seat license that scales against you.

One team from thesis to throughput

Underwriting, operations, technology, and marketing under one roof. No coordination tax between four vendors who each blame the other three when the number misses.

Midwest fluency

Seasonal towns, tourism swings, thin winter labor pools, and markets where reputation travels by word of mouth. We do not run a coastal playbook against a Great Lakes calendar.

Capital, when you want a partner instead of a vendor

Haven Hospitality is an operating company of Equity Growth Partners LLC, a private investment and operating firm. For the right situation we will invest alongside you, buy in, or buy outright. Advisory clients are never obligated to entertain it, and we say so in writing at the start of every engagement.

  • Minority growth capital paired with active management
  • Full acquisition with continuity for your team
  • Succession and exit planning for retiring owners
  • Joint venture on a new concept or second location
About our platform

How engagements run

Diagnose. Design. Deploy. Operate.

Step 01

Diagnose

A working session, a walk of the floor, and a real read of trailing financials, labor, menu mix, and booking data. You get a written point of view with the three things costing you the most, whether or not you hire us.

Step 02

Design

A scoped plan with owners, sequence, cost, and the metric each workstream moves. No open-ended retainers, no discovery that bills for six weeks before anything changes.

Step 03

Deploy

We install it. Systems configured, staff trained on the floor, software shipped and integrated, campaigns live. Our people are in your building, not on a status call.

Step 04

Operate

Weekly numbers, monthly review, quarterly reset. We stay long enough for the change to survive turnover, which is the only real test of whether it worked.

The eighteen-hole mini golf course at Lakeside Social in South Haven, Michigan
Proof, not promises

Lakeside Social

A 1987 bowling center on Blue Star Memorial Highway, acquired and repositioned into a five-revenue-center social venue: ten lanes, an eighteen-hole mini golf course, weekly karaoke, a full-service kitchen and bar, and a banquet hall that now competes for weddings and corporate events in a market that had nowhere to put them. A private karaoke room, golf simulators, axe throwing, pool tables and darts are all in build-out.

It is our building, our crew, our balance sheet, and our proving ground. Every system we sell was pressure-tested here first: the booking pipeline, the group sales workflow, the labor model, the reputation engine, the seasonal marketing calendar.

Two venues, two models

One we rebuilt. One we doubled.

Two of the highest-return moves available to an independent operator: reposition an asset that has stopped earning, or add a second business into space you are already paying for. We have done one of each, with our own money, and we still run both.

Add a second concept

A coffee bar that closed at three. We upgraded the room, secured a liquor license, and built a gin-forward cocktail bar into the same lease. It now earns into the late evening.
